Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich 2018 live stream: Time, TV channels and how to watch Champions League online

Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich, Champions League semi-final: What time does it start, what TV channel is it on and what is our prediction?

Real Madrid host Bayern Munich in what will be the second leg of the Champions League Semifinals —20:45 CET—. Los Blancos earned a good 1-2 lead at the Allianz Arena last week, scoring two valuable away goals and obtaining the lead on aggregate. That will force Bayern to take some risks as they will need a two-goal win or a 2-3 to play the Final in Kyiv.

Dani Carvajal and Isco have not been able to recover in time for this game and will miss it. Nacho, however, is back with the team and could play in the right side of the defensive line, which is huge for Real Madrid as Lucas Vazquez isn’t a pure right-back and would have struggled defending Franck Ribery during 90 minutes.

Karim Benzema could also return to the starting lineup in order to unleash Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been quiet since Zidane decided to bench the French attacker.

Real Madrid

Defender Nacho should be available having returned to training following injury, but play-maker Isco and full-back Dani Carvajal are doubts after sustaining problems last Wednesday in Bavaria.

Local media reports indicate winger Lucas Vazquez could be asked to deputise.

Bayern Munich

Bayern’s cause is not helped by injuries to key players Arjen Robben and Jerome Boateng.

The pair were forced off with problems during the initial meeting with Real and will be unavailable, although Javi Martinez and David Alaba, who have also had injury problems, have travelled.

What are the odds?

  • Real Madrid to win 6/5
  • Draw 3/1
  • Bayern Munich to win 2/1

What’s our prediction?

Bayern have a poor recent record against Real, losing six in a row, including last season’s two-legged quarter-final. And the crucial away goals mean the Germans must score at least twice at the Bernabeu to have a chance of progressing to the final in Kiev.
Predicted score: Real Madrid 2 Bayern Munich 2. Real go through 4-3 on aggregate.
